This is the original and is by far superior to the subsequent reissues. It sports a maple neck with 24 fret rosewood fret board. It has some minor damage and modifications but has been restored as much as possible to its original condition. Lucite is a very dense material and contributes to an aggressive sound with lots of sustain. This is a real joy to play
