Sold! Gibson went over the top with these 1994 reissues of the legendary Les Paul Specials of the 1950's. They decided a few improvements were in order. Starting with a Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece rather than the wrap around bridge that came on the originals. They also saw fit to bind the fret board in the style of Les Paul Standards. Grover tuners and P-100 humbucking pickups round out the list of changes. This one has a one piece mahogany body. It seems Gibson put some effort into making sure these reissues stood on their own quality wise. Comes with original Gibson hardshell case.
